General Information

The registration and payment for the Linz Seminar will be carried out through the conference administration system of the Johannes Kepler University Linz. Detailed information about the registration and payment process will soon be available at this place.

COVID-19 regulations

Participants will have to obey the COVID-19 regulations by the time of the seminar effective by both the Austrian and Upper Austrian federal state as well as Johannes Kepler University Linz. Detailed information will be provided at this place. Currently no particular regulations are effective.

Seminar Fee

The total seminar fee amounts to € 850,-- and already covers the lodging with breakfast in the Bildungshaus St. Magdalena as well as the abstract volume, coffee-breaks, lunches, the social program of the seminar including the excursion and the conference dinner.

Additional expenses will only be needed for your drinks at the Bildungshaus and for dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening.

Support by the EUSFLAT Student Grants Program

Our seminar is a EUSFLAT-endorsed events and we are happy to announce that we may offer (partial) support to some students through the EUSFLAT student grants program.

The eligibility criteria for an application are the following (compare also https://eusflat.org/members-grants-program.html): The candidate must be a PhD student. She/he must be an author or co-author and the presenter of an accepted paper, and she/he must be registered as an EUSFLAT student member (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) at the time of application (https://eusflat.org/Identity/Account/Login).

An application is composed of: the applicant's EUSFLAT membership number (valid at the time of application), details on the university and country of the applicant, and name of the PhD supervisor (EUSFLAT ID if applicable), the time since previous EUSFLAT grant (if applicable), the title and the full list of authors of the accepted paper. The conference organizers will provide the evaluation reports of the submitted contributions to the EUSFLAT society for a decision on the funding requests.

Grant applications shall be sent by email to the organizers no later than March 29, 2023, i.e., to linz2023(at)m3dm.jku.at. Please choose as a subject "[linz2023] Eusflat student grant application + your name". Note that the grant is provided only after the seminar and the presentation, since physical attendance and presentation of the contribution is mandatory.

Registration Deadline, Room Reservation

In any case, please note that it is necessary to register until April 26th, 2023 and to pay the seminar fee no later than May 3rd, 2023.
